As one of our bestselling toys of all time, I surprised even myself when I realized I had never tried this lube! My only question after my grueling test was – Why is this a great seller? Does it have something to do with the marketing or the price? I think it must be one of those two things because after my incredibly in-depth probing I was left underwhelmed with ID Glide.

I didn't completely dislike it, in fact it is pretty damn slippery... but only for a moment. All water-based lubes are going to dry up, that is just plain science, water evaporates. But, this one seemed to dry at a much faster rate than many I have tried. It’s great for the first minute or two but it quickly loses that slickness and becomes incredibly sticky requiring either more lube or some spit. Personally I don't like to work that hard and would rather be able to get all the way to the big O before my toy is virtually glued to my vag. That brings up another point - this stuff dries to an insane stickiness.

So, while I didn't hate this lube, I certainly wouldn't make it my first choice. It is probably fine if your wetness is light to medium to keep it slick. And since there is no flavor I didn't mind my partner going down on me even after I was slathered with ID Glide. I would recommend this for quickie toy play... it's fine and requires little clean up.
