I’ve been told by some older gay guys that penis pumps were all the rage among men in the years before Viagra, Cialis and their knock-offs. And I was also told that pumps also can make your dick plumper and bigger – if only for a short amount of time. This toy reviewer had never actually used a pump before so with the above information in mind and my curiosity piqued, I grabbed the toy from my grinning boss and excitedly took it home.

The Fireman’s Pump is a red medical looking device that features an opaque chamber of about 7 ½ inches and a hand-squeezed suction pump. I don’t need its help to get my dick hard, but I was curious about the idea of making it bigger - if only for a moment. I usually try out toys alone, but with this one I called up one of one buddies to help me both operate and evaluate it. We fooled around and when I was hard and ready, greased up and inserted. My friend began to slowly squeeze the bulb and I watched as my dick did seem to grow and plump up. But I was also a little afraid of my cock exploding into a bloody mess of glands and flesh so we took it slowly.

After a very short amount of time I thought it was enough, had him turn the release valve and pulled my super-cock out. Fear was my immediate emotion as the upper part of my dick changed to a dark red color resulting in one half being pale and the other seemingly sun burnt. I thought, oh no what the fuck did I do and why didn’t I try it on my friend first. But he had the calmer (and less red) head and assured me the color was only temporary and with that went right down on me. Coming up after a bit, he couldn’t really say if my dick was any larger post-pump but that the pump entire experience was great and exciting. I tried it again (he wanted no parts of trying it himself – he was there only as a hand and mouth) and began to enjoy the vacuum sensation and feeling it had on my dick.

So in conclusion – I can’t say it actually enlarges one’s cock, but it definitely makes you as hard as you’ve ever been in no time flat. And as a sex toy it worked - it made that day’s romp in the hay loads of fun. But now I may be addicted - I want to try other pumps and see how they work and compare. More on that in future reviews!
