One of the best things to come out of the Old World since Mentos, this white-hot exploration of the Euro libido entitled Fire Pump is an excellent way to spend two hours.

With a couple of exceptions, the cast is aesthetically blessed and their fire hoses are ergonomically designed to hold great amounts of fluid. The thing that really makes this flick a nut-milker is its slightly amateurish feel. Consequently, the action comes off as primal, raw and real (great facial shots). There’s a passion and intensity to the action that makes you want to he-bop ‘till the cows come home.

A tasty mix of ages and types is another of the film’s strengths. The one flaw the film has is that much of the action is shot from behind. It’s nice looking at someone’s posterior for a little while, but then you want to see what’s happening up on the front line. The film's climax is a shank-yanking foursome between four Eurostuds getting busy on a fire engine.

If sex truly is the universal language, then these guys speak beautifully.
