For the tenth anniversary of this calendar, the French rugby players have gone all out and hired famed fashion and celebrity photographer Tony Duran. Of course you know that we've been hyping his book and now we've got the DVD! Accusations have been flying that the team has recruited players more for their looks than skills. Well let it be known that we here at TLA support that decision. We think the NFL and the NBA should adopt the same recruitment policies and start selling annual nude calendars and DVDs. All kidding aside, among the players this year we will have the pleasure to see Dimitri Szarzewski, Lionel Beauxis, Julien Arias, Mathieu Bastareaud, Simon Taylor, Tom Palmer, Hugo Southwell, Juan Manuel Leguizamon, Maxime Medard, Alexis Palisson, Morgan Parra, Fulgence Ouedraogo, Simon Shaw, Thom and Max Evans, Ollie Barkley, and Steeve Guenot. We don't know a damned thing about these guys other than the fact that they look amazing naked.

It is an annual affair, the Dieux du Stade DVD of the making of the calendar and this year's addition is probably the longest one yet coming in at a little over tow hours. This is also the 10th anniversary edition and it maintains what it is famous for, beautiful men with beautiful bodies. What we get is very hot European football players posing naked for top fashion photographer, Tony Duran.
It is hard to compete with the amount of male frontal nudity available now but this is a bit different. Although the men are all naked, there is no full,frontal nudity except for one very quick shot that if you blink you might miss it. Not to worry however, the sheer beauty of the men makes up for the lack of exposed male anatomy. One thing I did notice that was missing from previous editions was the lack of rapport between model and photographer. Everything seemed kind of cold to me.
I read a review that said that the DVD is boring and I have to disagree. Boring it isn't; it is just not as exciting as other shots of male nudes that concentrate on sexuality. This concentrates on the beauty of the male form.
