Review

Remastered and looking quite different than you may remember, Cousins is essential William Higgins, and one of the biggest-selling pre-condom films ever. The DVD looks terrific and will please most fans. It's still a tad dark at times (the campfire scene is a squinter), but that's more due to Higgins' use of natural lighting and that this was shot on film, not hi-def video. The photo gallery is a real gallery (not screenshots) of chromes shot during the film, and is a nice extra. Collection-worthy.

Cousins is one of director William Higgins' most popular and notorious - mainly because of Matt Ramsey, who went on to become straight-porn star Peter North. While his scenes are very good and effective (a poolside romp with a delivery man and a jack-off at the film's finale), it's the other scenes that will take your breath away. There's the squirm inducing scene with the lead's family early on (you know what's coming), an outdoor group slurp-n-fuck that ends with one of my all-time favorite mouthful-of-cum shots, a fuck on top of a jeep in full public view, and a camping expedition that ends in power fucks and beauty boys slathered in mancream. (Can you tell how much I love this movie?)

Shot on film, Cousins was the first all-male film to have its own original stereo soundtrack. Feel free to use that fact as cocktail-hour trivia fodder at your next family gathering. Enough to make one give their own relatives a second glance, this majorly-winning classic is a must-add for every serious collector.

The parents leave and the boys take turns with each other in the living room. Matt and Scott heat things up, while sitting by the pool. Lance and Tony are cleaning Cory's house and end up cleaning Cory instead. Matt, Steve, Brad and Rick have a foursome on a giant rock. Scott, Chris and John prove that they can have just as much fun in the sun as the other guys. They have a juicy threeway on a different rock. Chris gets a visit from Lee that leaves them both drenched in spunk. They head up to the mountains and wind up getting it on the Jeep. Matt takes a moment for himself as he jacks off outside."
