The "Sugartime!" episode generated tremendous controversy and was pulled from many PBS stations, though if you watch the episode, you might be hard pressed to figure out why. Buster's innocuous journeys are intended to show children the diversity of life throughout the globe. In Vermont, the animated rabbit matter-of-factly meets a family that includes two lesbian parents. This was evidently too much for the religious right to bear, as there's nothing more offensive to them than seeing homosexuals treated as normal, healthy people. Though geared at the younger set, all four episodes are entertaining, educational, and fun for the whole family.
