I agree this book is a must have for the die-hard fan (like me); I'd just like to suggest you consider even more Annie Proulx than this. The original short story is from a collection called "Close Range: Wyoming Stories". Impossible as it may sound, "Brokeback Mountain" is even more moving and profound when read as the last of the eleven moving, profound stories in this collection. Give it a try.

A must have for Brokeback Mountain fans. The short story, screenplay and three essays complete the book which is for the Ultimate Brokeback Mountain fan to read over and over again.
