There's something for everyone in this imaginative, sexually charged sci-fi camp classic. Featuring a young pre-liberated Jane Fonda -- before Vietnam, exercise videos, two Oscars and rich Southern media moguls -- as a fetching, pre-liberated sex goddess, this wacky film shows off all of her best bodily talents. As the tigerish sex kitten cum 40th-century space traveler, Fonda, when not fighting off demonic, razor-teethed dolls or killer canaries, displays a wonderful assortment of the latest in revealing intergalactic fashion. Plenty of queerish characters abound in the future as the luscious Barbarella fights off a bevy of intergalactic fiends.
