This is an amazing story. I loved it, and the acting is amazing. This is such a great portrayal of family love - no matter how dysfunctional it is, when you really need them they're there for you.

Kevin Isola is incredibly sexy and sweet as Jonathan. Trying to capture his childhood feeling of Christmas, lost when his mother and father died, he writes a letter to Santa asking him to bring his true love. He has been raised by his older sister, hilariously and perfectly played by Aida Turturro, and these two actors absolutely make this film. Jonathan works at a gay bookstore, with several eccentric characters who do not quite share his confidence that Santa will come through. Then Toby walks in, fresh into New York from down south, and Jonathan is sure he is Santa's gift, but is horrified and confused when he finds out about Keith, Toby's rather intellectual live-in boyfriend. The ensuing confusion recalls the wacky farces of the 40's. Turns out Santa was on the job after all, though it takes a while for Jonathan to realize it. This movie is a gift to us.

The movie was pretty nice. However I thought that Johnathon would end up with Toby. Keith wasn't in my opinion the best for Johnathon, seeing as how he treated Toby. It was believable and somehow made me want to believe in Santa again.

it were shot on digital video
than transfered to film. also
24 NIGHTS has what may very well be the most stagnant camera angles/set ups i've ever seen. i simply can not
understand the praise heaped
upon this film. my .5 rating is because David Murtka looks
hot in white cotton briefs.
