Seth MacFarlane's rude and crude animated series is like "The Simpsons" without the redeeming social values, "The Honeymooners" as played in the Catskills, or "The Critic" with even more out-there references and free-association. Of course, there's also the snooty, refined talking dog, and the egomaniacal baby who wants to take over the world but can't yet talk or use the potty. The gags fly so fast it can be hard to keep up, and surprisingly, most of them hit.
