Skinopsis

Hookers of the world unite! Review

Brace yourselves: the bathroom tag-team rape scene in this film is very rough stuff. The pimp community doesn't take Cindy's (Andrée Pelletier) efforts to liberate/organize her fellow Montreal-based hookers, so they send a couple of goons to tail her and brutally assault her. They burst in, wrestle her to the floor and one creep holds her down while the other rips open her top and begins to nail her exposed bush as hard as he can. In fact, this whole sleazefest seems to be one long excuse to show hookers getting treated like discarded dogmeat. The johns, even the paying ones, tend to rip their clothes off before they can get 'em off. The pimps are dishonest and violent. Apparently, Montreal just wasn't a very nice place to fuck for cash back in the '70s. Who knew? This sordid number's got rape, assault, violence, sex, skinny-dipping and stripteases. Brutal.
