Dr. Laura Berman is some sort of sex therapist. If I really cared, I might go to wikipedia and look her up to give you more information, but I don't. Quite frankly, I'm not sure what a sex therapist does other than charge people money to say, "Hey, you're not fucking enough" so the fact that this toy was endorsed by a sex therapist wasn't a selling point for me.

Instead, I was interested in the Intimate Basics Eden Masturbator because it was featured on a segment on the Oprah. While I'm not an Oprah fan I was interested in this product because, I believed, if Oprah was promoting sex toys, wouldn't she at least feature toys that were the very best? Sadly, I was wrong.

The Intimate Basics Eden Masturbator is in theory, an awesome masturbator. It's soft and pliable and fits easily into your hand. It had no offensive chemical smell when I pulled it out of the box and it had a very pleasing, non-scummy look to it. It offers to small finger rings on the underside that allowed me pop my index finger and pinky finger through them for a non-slip grip and the contour of the toy (imagine a 3-dimensional figure eight) felt smooth and relaxed in my grip. It also allowed for slight pressuse changes in my grip which I assumed was going to provide me a sweet masturbation session.

I lubed up and got ready to enter the toy and found that, once again, someone designed a sex toy for men with abnormally small penises. Look, I'm not Shane Diesel, but I have a very healthy, normal sized penis and trying to slide into this toy was a nightmare. I like a lot of lube when I masturbate and even then, it was still difficult. After some work, I did make it inside the canal, and I was pleased to find that the ribbed interior was stimulating and the natural curve of the canal was realistic and enjoyable. However, even those sensations couldn't make up for the distracting tightness of this toy. I had hoped that with more time working on the toy, the material would loosen, but it never did.

After awhile I became frustrated and decided to finish myself off with a tried and true favorite the Aquamarine Hand Job Stroker.

As I never actually climaxed in this toy I can't tell you how easy or not it was to clean. However, considering there is only one hole on this toy and cleaning instructions say you must turn the toy inside out to properly clean it, I'm going to say that clean up is not the easiest.

All an all, a bummer of a sex toy in this reviewers opinion. If you're looking for a better stroker in the same price range definitely check out the Aquamarine Hand Job Stroker.
