The noir genre gets some unexpected twists in this black-and-white film written and directed by James Kerwin. This time, the sultry blonde isn’t a femme fatale or a damsel in distress--instead, Hoyle (Kipleigh Brown) is the alcohol-downing detective at the heart of the film. On the hunt for a brilliant recluse, she only has a few people she can trust, and her own perception seems even less reliable when reality begins to resemble fantasy.
