A sweet memory trip down the path of a Northern California '60s love child. Cally (Duvall) was born in 1968 in Bolinas (the town without a sign) in Marin County and never knew her mother. Her life seems adrift until she is drawn to a mysterious blonde woman, Sabine (Hannah). Even though we know that Sabine is Cally's daughter, the story unfurls slowly and gently. Roberts does a good job as Sabine's pot dealer/lover, Jacob, and there's plenty of great Marin scenery for the hippie in all of us. Lots of great California music including Santana and a nice Dead cover from "Deadicated." Also featured is a live performance by Blues Traveler!
