Review

An increasingly confusing and often times disturbing experimental horror film, Where the Dogs Divide Her is essentially every silent hill cut scene thrown into a blender with a whole lot of drugs and some plastic dolls.

According to the official synopsis, the film follows a young man attempting to unearth a deep dark family secret. However, you’d be heard pressed to find any hint of this journey in the film. Playing out like a very wrong nightmare, with very little dialogue, and no indication of what’s going on, this film is definetly for the risk taking art house horror crowd. It’s shot well for having the micro budget that it did, but that doesn’t save it from the barely there plot, repetitive cut scenes, and out of place music that plagues the film. It’s creepy, but damn near unwatchable.

I recommend playing it in the background while you’re having sex. You know, if you’ve got a fetish for licking the no no areas on tiny plastic dolls (that happens).
