Their "excellencies" Wayne and Garth are back with this slightly regurgitated yet nonetheless amusing sequel. Wayne takes on the task of organizing a massive outdoor rock concert, "Waynestock," in his home town of Aurora, Illinois. This sets the stage for a '70s-inspired amalgam of loosely tied together plot contrivances which for the most part offer winning one-liners, witticisms and spoofs. Among the film's highlights are a side-splitting tribute to the Village People; a marvelous re-creation of The Graduate; and a dubbed chop-socky kung fu fight. Twentysomething-ers beware: Much of the film's humor seems aimed not at its target audience but Baby Boomers.
