Two masters of Italian horror venture into the wonderful world of S&M in this kink/torture-filled period piece double feature.

The Whip and the Body (1963) tells the tale of an 18th (maybe 19th) century nobleman (Christopher Lee) who is banished from the family estate after getting caught beating the fuck out of the maid's daughter. He returns years later and whips his brother's secretly masochistic wife on a beach, then bangs her. Later, he's murdered and seems to come back from the dead to give his bro's wife (Daliah Lavi) some more tastes of his whip... while everyone else tries to figure out who's murdering the inhabitants of the estate. Directed by Mario Bava in 1963, this film doesn't offer much more skin than the welt-laden back of Ms. Lavi, but fans of S&M and gothic horror would be wise to pick it up.

Conspiracy of Torture tells the dramatic tale of Beatrice Cenci (Adrienne Larussa) who's father is such a prick that he's happy when his sons die and keeps her hot body locked up in a dungeon where he is free to torture and sexually assault her whenever he pleases. Evemtually, the bastard gets his, but the Catholic Church isn't about to let the killers get away with it no matter how much of a motherfucker the guy was when alive. Directed by Lucio Fulci, this film features some hot naked flesh from Ms. Larussa as well as torture and sexual violence.
