Review

Hooper directed this horrific tale about the gruesome slaughter of a group of innocent youngsters by a family of maniacs, headed by "Leatherface." This much-imitated gorefest has yet to be equaled for its sheer terror and shocking but surprisingly non-bloody depictions of violence. You have been warned. (Followed by 3 sequels) (Remade in 2003)
