Review

Reiner's impressive follow-up to This Is Spinal Tap is an intelligent and fresh look at adolescent romance. It offers a distinct alternative to most youth-oriented comedies by presenting teenagers that are hip, witty and even sensitive. Sort of a modern reworking of It Happened One Night. Cusack is terrific in one of his first starring roles.
