A modern reworking of the Cary Grant comedy Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House. Hanks and Long buy a suburban New York home real cheap, and after moving in and starting remodeling, discover why the low cost. Very few of the gags work here; most of this is predictable, unfunny and terribly over-produced. Stick to the original.
