Here's a film which, while it's not going to win any awards, will provide the viewer with a mildly entertaining evening of mystery and fun. Washington stars as Xavier Quinn, a police chief on a small Carribean island. Determined to clear the name of his childhood friend -- now a somewhat notorious local criminal (Townsend) -- Quinn tenaciously probes the murder of a white businessman on the island. In a somewhat predictable twist, he runs into a lot of opposition from some of the island's more prestigious constituents.
