Originally released in theatres under the banner Stephen King's Lawnmower Man, this virtual reality, sci-fi thriller was in fact only based in small part of one of the horror maven's stories. King went to court and got his name removed from the title and it's easy to see why. Though the film features some outstanding computer-generated special effects, the story is incredibly thin. Brosnan stars as a scientist who uses his dim-witted gardener (Fahey) as a guinea pig in a virtual reality-based experiment aimed at expanding mental capacity.
