From the liner notes

Suck follows a petty rock band called The Winners, whose lead vocalist Joey Winner (Rob Stefaniuk) desperately wants them to succeed. After their bass player (Jessica Paré) becomes a vampire, their down and out rock band is launched into spotlight. Stalked by creepy producers, wild groupies, and the legendary vampire hunter Eddie Van Helsing (Malcolm McDowell), The Winners soon find fame to be a fate worse than death.
