Review

Delon is a CIA assassin who is contracted by the Agency to kill his one-time partner (Lancaster) who they say is selling secrets to the Soviets. The acting in this film is, for the most part, wooden, with the exception of Scofield's portrayal of a last-of-his-breed Russian super-spy living in Vienna. There are too many loose ends left hanging at the conclusion of the film, but there's some nice location shots of Paris and Vienna, and a few neat non-weapons-related spy tricks to keep your mind off the hokiness of this thrill-less thriller.
