Review

Cusack stars in this intelligent, insightful and entertaining teen comedy as a high school grad who falls in love with the class valedictorian. Skye is lovely as the class queen, and Mahoney gives a stunning portrayal of her doting father. Credit writer and first-time director Crowe for making a "wrong side of the tracks" romance imbued with blithe observations on young adulthood and on the complexities of relationships -- whether they be romantic or otherwise.
