Review

Murnau's "symphony of horror" was the first, and most macabre, of the film versions of the legendary vampire, Count Dracula. Max Schreck's loathsome count, with his bald head, rodent face, long pointed ears, skeleton-like frame and talons will chill the most callous viewer. (Silent with musical soundtrack) An alternative version is also available which features a soundtrack by Type O Negative. From the Bram Stroker novel.
