A Cinderella story about friendship, personal transformation and finding true love.

Frances McDormand plays Miss Pettigrew, a nanny who is currently broke and out of work. She does get a job as a sort of personal assistant to the scandalous starlet Delysia La Fosse (Amy Adams), and much comic hilarity ensues as she tries to keep Delysia on the straight and narrow, or at least cover up her transgressions. Many bath scenes, but no nudity.
