Review

Hawks' fast-talking, wise-cracking, sex-change version of The Front Page. Russell is the ace reporter set to wed the less than dynamic Bellamy. Grant is her editor and ex-husband determined to thwart the match. A classic screwball comedy filmed at a machine-gun pace, the film's jokes are hilarious, the situations outlandish, and Grant and Russell are in terrific form. (Remade in 1988 as Switching Channels)
