Review

Before watching For Christ's Sake, we'd come to a dark place. A place where we had lost all faith in the "behind-the-scenes-porno-spoof." Experience had led us to believe that these spoofs were just mainstream movie land's attempt to giggle at porn while never actually being funny and often not even gracing the audience with any boobs at all. If you can tell us what the fucking point of a porno spoof without laughs or titties is, then you are a wiser man than us. Well, that all changes (at least temporarily) with For Christ's Sake, a movie about a priest accidentally getting involved with his brother's porn movie that's actually funny, delivers boobies (ex-TV-star boobies at that) and even delivers some believable, relatable human emotion. Needless to say, this flick blew our expectations right out of the water.

If you ever watched the early 2000s sitcom "Less Than Perfect," you'll be very pleased to know that Sara Rue (the star of that show) stars here as very popular porn actress Candy who takes a liking to our priest and goes out of her way to seduce him (in a nice way though). Not only that but this TV-tastic hottie shows off her massive mounds of mammarial flesh during porn scenes and while seducing Mr. Priest-man. Plus, some other chicks (including a dumb but fiery-hot Asian) show off titties and scantily-clad flesh. Now, we know what you're thinking, "What the fuck is the big deal with a spoof of the porn industry that has boobies? Shouldn't all spoofs of porn have boobies?" Well, of course they should, but you'd be shocked my friends at how many don't. Trust us, we know, this is our job. On top of actually delivering boobs, the flick also delivers laughs mostly at the expense of the Catholic Church teaming up with porn. Amazingly enough though, For Christ's Sake doens't come off as anti-Catholic or anti-porn which seems like the most impressive feat of all.

All in all, For Christ's Sake is a good-hearted movie about doing good, making porn and finding out your true purpose in life. Given the history of its genre, it's also, ahem, miraculously good.
