The fifth in director Rohmer's series of "Moral Tales," Claire's Knee is a sophisticated comedy of lust, unfulfilled desire and fidelity. The film tells the story of a young diplomat, recently engaged, who harbors a peculiar obsession for the teenage sister of his fiancée. A literate satire on sexual temptations with fine cinematography by Nestor Alemendros. (French with English subtitles)
