A potentially amusing horror spoof which unfortunately gets mired in an internal confusion over whether to be Bill & Ted meets The Lost Boys or Heathers meets Dracula, Buffy is a vampire saga in search of some bite. Buffy (Swanson) is an average airhead California cheerleader before Sutherland shows up to inform her that it is her destiny to rid the earth of the evil bloodsucking undead. Joining Buffy in her quest is Hunk-of-the-Month Perry. Buffy is about as stimulating as a weekend at the mall, though at least it has the good sense to visit the nicer clothing stores.
