Horrible, obnoxious and unfunny, Celtic Pride casts an irritating Aykroyd and a killable Stern as two pathetic Boston Celtic fans who kidnap the opposing team's star player (a bored Wayans) to ensure their beloved team's victory. What should have been a vicious, wicked satire on professional sports and their more obsessive fans instead is a grueling debut by a film student-like director who has little knowledge of direction, sports or comic timing. Every potentially interesting exchange or insight is diverted to a cheap insult or unnecessary pratfall.
