Review

A good vocal cast adds depth and character to this wonderful animated musical. Danny is a small-town cat seeking fame and fortune in Hollywood. There he meets Sawyer, the charming secretary of the animal talent agent. Danny's big dreams are soon crushed when he finds out that animals are limited to bit parts and are not allowed to speak or sing. Danny and Sawyer eventually overcome the odds and triumphantly sing and dance their way to the top, taking lots of other underappreciated animals with them. The blind loyalty paid to Disney productions often causes gems like this to be overlooked.
