Synopsis

Captain Sam Cahill (Tobey Maguire) is embarking on his fourth tour of duty, leaving behind his beloved wife (Natalie Portman) and two daughters. When Sam’s Blackhawk helicopter is shot down in the mountains of Afghanistan, the worst is presumed, leaving an enormous void in the family. Despite a dark history, Sam’s charismatic younger brother Tommy (Jake Gyllenhaal) steps in to fill the family void.

When Sam finally returns home, after suffering great trauma, his mind is not as stable as it once was. Things take a dangerous turn for this troubled family when Sam begins to suspect that his wife and brother are having an affair.

I don't write much in reviews. I can say I has this feeling of I have been there. Not that I have had the story happen to me but I know the feelings the Major is going through. The lack of trust, paranoid,fear,depression. It hit home.
It is a excellent story and acting. EVERY Congressperson and Senator should be required to see this and The Hurt Locker, before even thinking of sending our troops to war.
