Review

This high-tech horror yawn fest shamelessly borrows from the Nightmare on Elm Street films. A teenage video game addict (Furlong) orders a new interactive game which penetrates his subconscious. When friends and neighbors start turning up dead, he becomes the center of an investigation, while at the same time he's coaxed by a CD-ROM spawned villain named The Trickster (Smith). Long on dazzling special effects but lacking in plot.
