When sexual addiction threatened to take over Todd’s (Todd Verow) life, it cost him the loss of his lover and his apartment and quite possibly his job. He was beginning to feel that his relationship of five years had soured and began to spend time on the internet and prowling public rest areas looking for anonymous sex. His boyfriend, John, caught him in the act in the bathroom at work, beat him up and threw him out. Todd is homeless and has to live at his workplace but his job is put in jeopardy because of the compulsive feelings he has about sex.
Todd Verow always pushes the envelope and he directs this film and shows us a sad character that is totally wrapped up in the quest for sex.
The film is very real and even with all of the sex, Todd also seems to long for romance. The realism of the movie is seen in the gritty sex scenes and it is based upon truth. This addiction to anonymous sex is not something new to the gay community but it is something that is not always spoken of openly. His addiction for sex made Todd come across as a very sad person who exudes pathos. He seems unable to change and that is what is so sad.
There is a porn quality to the film but it also shows feelings. This quest for sex overpowers rational thought and because of that whatever Todd does seems to be natural for him to do.
The brutality and honesty of the film make it special but it also has its flaws one of which is Verow’s own narcissism which overtakes him. There is a good deal of graphic sex but this is what we would expect to see from a sex addict.

This film had a lot of truth. The main character (Verow) doesn't get away with a thing. He is addicted to anonymous hook-ups and can't help jeopardizing everything to get them, behavior I have seen in some of my friends and I suppose me as well. Even after his boyfriend catches him in the act and beats him up pretty bad, Todd (Verow) remains undeterred in his desire for anonymous sex. He appears somewhat pathetic in his attempts to connect with other people but is still shown compassion as well. The sex is real and the dialogue between his hook-ups believable. I was left feeling sorry for him; his addiction to sex had turned him into a sad charater. Beneath the surface of a compulsive and seemingly pathetic character was a sensitive and sympathetic person who still wanted the security of a relationship but could not change who he was. A worthwhile viewing.

This movie doesn't flinch, and you cannot take your eyes off the screen in this very graphic and strong film dealing with sexual obsession and how it can overtake a man's life. This film reminds one of the groundbreaking German film, Taxi Zum Klo, in its storyline and in its depiction of gay sex. In both instances, the central character has a partner, but that doesn't keep either one from their nonstop sexual activities, and both also put their employment on the line for the sake of one sexual escapade after another. Bordering on porn, but with a strong, if not easily followed story, this is one of those rare films that makes a statement of how sex can rule a person's life when that person is a male nympho.
