Lehmann's self-consciously hip, one-joke comedy is about a rock band -- The Lone Rangers -- who hold a radio station hostage in order to get their demo played. The one joke? That a rock band holds a radio station hostage in order to get their demo played. As repetitious as it sounds, the film isn't helped by a tired script and one-dimensional performances. However, Sandler saves the day with an amusing portrayal of the band's dim-witted drummer.
