I stopped watching after 8 minutes and I will ask for a refund when I return the DVD to the video store. I can't believe a distributor actually had the nerve to release it!

Rarely do I give a bad review but when I do, I hold nothing back. Let me start out by saying that “A Slice of Terror” is a stinker and belongs on everyone’s worst list. Because it is so bad, it is hard to know how to even start to review it. I have actually seen better acting in silent porn movies. Now I love dark comedies but there was no humor here at all. It is poorly written, poorly filmed and non acted.
Supposedly this was meant to be a satire but I doubt that those in charge know the definition of the word. Satire is supposed to be funny and filled with irony. There is no irony, no wit, no sarcasm and a lot of folly and stupidity.
I suppose that there was once some kind of plot here but I have absolutely no idea of what it is.
Do me a favor—forget this movie. I have wasted enough time on it.

I watched this because I saw on IMDB that the same actor from Sideline Secrets, James Townsend, was in it. After liking Sideline Secrets so much, I thought I would be in for another treat with this movie. Boy, was I wrong. I HATED it. James is only in the film for maybe 3 minutes. What a disappointment. But, I am honestly glad he did not have a larger role. Crap like this could sink anyone's career. Remember those junior high school projects of making movies using your family and friends? Well, this is about at that level... but worse! Everything about this movie is just distasteful (not in a funny/campy John Waters way either). Word of advice-- dont use the AUTO FOCUS on your little handheld camera. Half the movie is a blurry mess because of that!!! I can go on and on about how bad this film is, but rather save it to spread good word on other films. Save your time and money. You will be thankful.

The only HORROR you will find in this tarnished dirt clod is in the filmmaking itself. There is nothing scary about this film. One can not even be clever in saying that it is "campy" because it is far from such. The Washed up porn star turned director needs to realize the movie business is not for him. SLICE OF TERROR could have been a pretty entertaining film in regards to storyline. But what little storyline there is wears beyond thin in about three minutes. This is illegal guerilla filmmaking at its worst. Several well known west hollywood locations are shot from afar, like secret spy style. The actors shed their lines and clothes for ketchup covered deaths... and all culminates in some odd unfocused speia toned sacrifice/orgy made up of true lack of talent. Everyone in this film should find a new career.

We are in the third run of this film. It seems to be popular with a lot of folks. It was slow when released but took off and now has a steady sales every month. We have never said we are making award winning videos. We make video with lots of sex (simulated) and a story. If you look beyond the marginal acting you will find a creditable gay history and story. We will admitt that some production is also marginable, but we are one of the few companies that make money at this. We will be releasing 10 movies in 2006. Most will be on location in different parts of the USA and three will be outside. As for the critics, that is what the 1st amend is for, so you can have your say. Many thanks and have a great new year.
